Our Coffee

From the very beginning, coffee importing was one of the main activities at the Port of Trieste and by 1748, the city's first coffeehouse had opened. The brand "Specialita Caffe` Hausbrandt" (then Hausbrandt Trieste 1892 S.p.A") was founded in 1892 and became the first Italian coffee roasting company. This pursuit of excellence is the result of a continued commitment to high quality, which has led Hausbrandt to hold an important position in the world of coffee, both in Italy and internationally. The company not only deals with coffee, but also with Theresianer beer and Col Sandago wine.
